Default Laser doing weird stuff. Dead?

I have an old (2008) diode and huge controller which has worked for about 2 years and has recently only run for about 20 seconds then turned itself off, then given a half hearted bleep for about 10 seconds, then re-starts its 5 second countdown before turning on for about 10 seconds and repeating itself.

It is a very old bit of kit, so would not surprise me if it was well and truly dead. Now I'm looking at it, the beam doesn't look too stable. Usually it has a smooth increase in intensity and now seems a little jerky.

Any suggestions appreciated (even if it is bin!)

    Cheers

    Keith

Bring it with you to the LEM
