where to buy a 3 watt red laser,and how much is the appropriate price

Given that a Mitsubish diode at 500mW costs a few tens of dollars, no matter what beam correction happens two grand is a bit strong. Maybe if it were a very good combination of single mode diodes it might be good value.

The Kvant's is with single mode diodes, Opnext 63133 (638nm) (5,8w) and Opnext HL6385DG in (5w)(640-642nm) both with total 36 pcs diodes.
Can see the lasever is 2,2 x 1,86 mrad so it's P73's inside.
