    Default rgb turnkey price

    hi, guys,

for an rgb turnkey solution the following unit seems to be a good buy, any comments ? anyone used this supplier?
i made my single 100mw 532nm with wide move galvos and software for slightly more than the unit below

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SALE-7-Colour-...QQcmdZViewItem

may be a bit low on the output power for strong beam effects, but for home use probably ok
7 colours may suggest ttl and not analogue............is that reasonable assumption ?

    cheers ........dave

I'm not familiar with that specific unit, but it looks similar to the F2000 projector that's been discussed here several times before. The price is a tad higher than the F2000 units, but other specs are close.

Probably TTL, so yeah - 7 colors max. Also, you'll probably need to add IR filters to the DPSS lasers. Frequently they come without them.

Searching the forums here for "F2000" and/or "Big Dipper" will yield a good bit of discussion about these units. Search for "RGB" for a lot more discussion about whitelight projectors in general.

    Either way, good luck!

I bought from nfi.exports last year and wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
The diode had no filters, the images of the inside of the unit were nothing like what was supplied.
The galvos would only just display the test patern at 8k, their customer service stinks.
I posted some of the emails off them on the site somewhere.

I suggest the only manufacturer of quality lasers in China is Neo laser. I wouldn't bother wasting my money on anything else

    Dave is 100% correct

Neo is the only GOOD complete Laser Projector manufacturer in china at the moment

they cost a little bit more than your typical Chinese tin box laser ..... But tin box they are not

they are the largest laser/lighting Manu in china
also Neo-Neon will host the annual ILDA Conference, this march . ( im hopeing to go but does not look likely )

just to show how big they are ..... they have Two 4 star hotels in the factory site

    this is the factroy entrance

    and this is the site

and this is the cleanroom fro manufacturing DPSS

And the workforce is led by Jim Hardaway, who i was fortunate to meet in italy last year
and is a cool guy ... he should be easy to spot in the photo below being non chinese

oh and these are the hotels and restaurants on site

    all the best ... KARL

On the other hand, this is probably what some OTHER Chinese laser projector factories look like:
