    Has anyone here given anything like this a go? Seems like there would be plenty of knowledge here to improve upon the design.

    I looked at that yesterday. Neat idea I would like to see it with a little higher resolution and a wider bandwidth. He is using a 128 pixel array 256 and say 350 to 900 nm would be great. Might have to play with this.
