Some New Projector Electronics

been working with someone to produce some custom electronics to suit my needs, here are the results.

measures the temps of all modules and the base plate and displays the results on an illuminated LCD. then when a set temp is reached by the base plate sensor it activates fans within the projector

I also did something similar while back

turns out my programming skills was hopeless
Its basically just a thermometer, couldn't figure out the IF/OR value to control the relay
Maybe someone could help me out on that

Can you tell us a little more on how they attach and if your selling them currently or when they might be available?
This is a really great idea.

all you have to do is drill a 4mm round hole in the base plate of the module and insert the sensor, same with the projector base plate.

add 5v to the board and job done

um not sure yet, not sure there is enough interest.

is the fan control PID controlled or does it just look for a set temperature?

The board uses a relay and is triggers on a set temperature. It currently toggles every 10 seconds to avoid rapid on/off pulses in case the temperature is right on the edge.

Hmmm, that's pretty crude!

Simple proportional control using the micros PWM ( for variable speed fan ) would be light years better than a relay!

I think the reason a relay was suggested was so any fan could be used
