    Default 515 nm laser pointer

Just got in a 515 nm laser pointer. Output about 6 or 7 mW (close enough for Class 3R), lovely color

Great. How much $ and who did you buy from? Diodes are safer than DPSS, even with APC...which can fail.

Laser To, and about $180 ( expensive, but probably a first)

that seems expensive. 20mW 515nm modules were selling at selem for 65$

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Hi, any source for those modules, besides selem? Sound promising, thanks.

I was letting SELEM attendees get these modules for 60$

ATM they are 85$ plus actual cost to ship-I have tested several and all made 26mW-these are ready to use just put 3 or 4 VDC to the red/black-
focusable (plastic lens faik) lens-SMD driver already inside the standard AixiZ Blank module(chromeplated brass iirc)
not many (65) came in the first shipment- urging more to be ordered the same and also the 520nm -both as modules and also Osram bare diodes.

The module holder these come in is not nearly enough mass to make much difference and the fit is way off-you could use copper shims but wiser IMO to just get a real Heat Sink with a tighter fit. No tests done yet on these MODULES so the duty/rest cycle ATM is an unknown. The murder tests should be a good indicator.

I think they are pretty robust- the color is quite nice- same with spot --nice and round and also the divergence is very good.
Ideal power for portable LUMIA or Spiro build with batt power-- until more come in I would hope ordes would be for no more than 2-per member.

PM me and I will send you a link. ships worldwide from Houston Texas..

I may try to do a GB for more of these and/or bare diodes-- PM but like most times they things go down in price later so...The 60$ price was just to get some out into the hands of members. LOOKs like at $115 LASERLANDS is already sold out or maybe fleaBay locked-down more laser listings as LL normally has more than just 15 items...

    Thanks to you! PM, hak.

I got one of the DTR green diodes already, love the color and beam.

Maybe I can grab one of these lower power modules here, for some installations. Again, thanks.

Here is what you get- the 'holder' is the same size as this module holder--

    here..http://www.aixiz.com/store/product_i...products_id/99

but no tripod hole on bottom and there are four holes. The silver one also has only one set screw in top- BUT both are a poor fit for 12mm modules-

here is what is being sent out now-
