That's a particularly dangerous and time consuming way of catching rabbits. I have found a pellet to the temple and quick tug of the head (the rabbit's) is far more effective and there is considerably less likelihood of inadvertently being despatched yourself!

Yeah exactly. Not much point catching your dinner if you die before you get to eat it. If I came across a deadly snake I'd be going in the opposite direction not wrestling it. Sod the rabbits!
Don't know about pellets, this my prefered method of control. Only trouble is its no good vapourising them and cutting them in 2 if you want dinner!

Can't be that hard to catch, I doubt it can run straight after that session!
They ought to leave some cider out instead then they could shoot it, roast it and they'd have pork and apple without the effort.
(Must admit it is quite cute though. Make a fun pet with a great party trick).

HehHehHeh.... I did have a good chuckle at this cute little guys exploits..... he won't stay cute for long mind you. Just have a look at what happened back in 84 when a pig with the munchies and a serious booze habit ran out of beer...Can't be that hard to catch, I doubt it can run straight after that session!

Ha ha. That would fill a sandwich or two.
Need a bloody big onion though and I'm not sure a .243 would cut it!
