I am planning a trip down to SoCal in the next month or two, but I haven't locked down dates. I will definitely come see a show or two while I am down.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

, ya'll.. Some 'recent-reviews'... http://www.avoidingregret.com/2015/0...-moon.html?m=1 / http://www.avoidingregret.com/2015/0...in-lasers.html ..and (before I get barbecued alive.. *all* the 'mirror-ball' / diff-fx' she references going 'directly in my eyeball' ARE eye-safe (like, Blisslight-or-less level beamlet-frags off the rhinestone-wheel, etc..) and are NOT 'audience-scanning'... just to 'set the record straight'...

..Anyhoo, re: 'time / money / distance'.. Yes, those are all 'valid excuses', but.. on the other-hand, a) You DO have 2 kidneys, ya know.. and b) ...'Carpe Beam, my Friends', Carpe Beam..

    Cya's there..

Well, the original London Planetarium where Laserium shows were performed back in the late 70's to early 90's (I saw 3 of 'em WOW!!!), has been turned into an attraction by Madame Tussauds and is not viable anymore .
However, there is a new planetarium in London (which I only found out about today but has been open for the last 8 years!!) in Greenwich Park as part of the Royal Observatory complex. It is called the Peter Harrison Planetarium. Some info which might be relevant, as it is in the park grounds, it is subject to the opening times of the park (which closes at 21:00). However, the last planetarium show is at 16:15 and lasts aprox 30-40 mins. This could give you a window of say 4 hours to put on a show (but if you were to make enquiries, I'm sure the details would be worked out).

I offer this up in case you were unaware of the new (can it be called new after being open for 8 yrs) possibility for a London show. Contact information can be found on their web site: Royal Museums Greenwich

Some interesting stuff from Wikipedia about the planetarium:

"The planetarium uses Digistar 3 software with blue, red and green lasers and grating light valve (GLV) technology to create a 4,000 pixel strip. This strip is swept to produce a 5,000 by 4,000 pixel image, refreshed 60 times per second. The image is projected through a fisheye lens onto the dome of the planetarium"

    Could be useful to know!

During searches for Laserium London, I came across something you might not be aware of. The name Laserium is being used by a beauty clinic at 35 Market Square, Edmonton Green London N9. I don't know if the name is copyrighted over here but if so...
    Cheers
