Just thought I'd point out after both dichro the loss for green 8%. In the world of laser 8% is most likely not noticeable. On higher power stuff you might want to think about beam stops so you don't zap yourself when you open the unit for adjustment or hit a child or pet.

1w=920mw (2 40mw waste beams....eye hazard)

ie not as bad as it sounds but you will see reflected green beams.

I point this out because I didn't want people to think this was a miracle dichro. It is very good dichro but you will always see some green reflection.
I have some on order myself.

For the all diode builds, this is why I was putting green last. Dave sent me a piece that passes red and blue reflect green. It works very well but I can't measure the real result. Bridge may also have this type of dichro which should be tested and added to the other two types. Use type b dichro to combine red and blue and then this third dichro to add in green. I think Kvant is using quads of each single mode diode to get 800mw.

Not meaning to split hairs, but the total green loss from using both dichros in succession, would be 7%, not 8%.

Yes after passing through both dichro. Hey I just heard a rumor the 1w greens 520nm are just around the corner..... No word on beam quality but based on the single mode the multimodal should be better than the blues. This is a reliable rumor source but still a rumor.
