    Does somebody have the pinout on the CAT5 to DB25 conversion "standard" I cannot find it on google!

    Just a note, all 8 pins are used for 1Gb links.... 10/100Mb links use just 4 pins.

    Norty303 not any that I have heard about yet, if people are going to be using this method then something should be decided upon amongst the population.
    While looking for info on this I noticed somebody had said that we could surely be using this method yet we would never be able to become compliant with CDRH.. or something like this. as if there is some hard set rule that a db25 connector is the only acceptable method.

    With that being said, I suppose whatever method that StanWax is using could be the "standard"... I had came to wonder if there is some copyright on that.
