One comment if anyone is serious....
Ask him to show you pix of the other side of them CD's.
If he is in the habit of putting them that way down on a surface they may be scratched to buggery!

Nothing a bit of cotton wool and toothpaste wouldn't fix. If he scratched the label surface, they could easily be unrecoverable.

Anyway, it would be a license being paid for, no? Considering what Pangolin ask, I think they should be happy to replace the odd genuine CD from time to time, even if it was sold on.

Last I checked new Pangolin install Disc's are $75 a set, but you get the latest software version with all the recently added shows/images you can't get by downloading updates.

4.0 was released last May and there was something like 1 Gig worth of added content. If this set is older than May'06 then your best bet is to get new disc's. Ask for the serial number on the hologram; needs to above 6500ish.
