Any other ideas, or maybe there's something about DXF that you know which I don't?

I've found some tools which try to convert regular images files to SVG. Do you guys know of any tools which can convert SVG to the ILDA format?

I've used this TL script in the past to render DXF sequences via blender, and them optimized via ILD SOS:

That works but is outdated. I tried it and it doesn't work with new Blender versions.
