Default How to Manually Modulate RGB Analog Pots on Chinese White Brick?

For alignment purposes I want to decrease the intensity of the laser. I heard that the Analog version of the Chinese White (RGB) lasers that it is possible to manually turn the pots for modulation. There are 6 Pots on the driver board. 3 are closer to the diode output and 3 are closer to the modulation input. Does anyone know if it is in fact possible to manually modulate and can confirm which pots should be adjusted for this purpose?

If it is analog, just put a 10Kpot on the modulation lines tied together and feed it 5v
    leading in trailing technology
