What's a cone scanner and why do I want one?

I guess it would make sense to think about some breadboard piece since shipping is kinda minimal when you're getting 2600 pounds of other stuff.

The cone scanner has a rotating mirror that makes a cone effect... I need to start getting packaging material to wrap and box your stuff

And if anybody is on the fence about the torture tube lumia box jump off that fence!

Any discount on the torture tube for just the motor and the glass? I wouldn't need the fiber or collimator.
