Default High School Homecoming Takeover Tour

    Hey Everyone,

This past weekend a friend & I performed at our last homecoming of the year, and we got some really good video footage. While it's not the most impressive thing I've done, it looks pretty good for a high school gymnasium:-0

It's an X-Laser 2.3 watt RGB X-Beam, and we used quick show to control it.

So who ultimately booked the laser/lighting with the school? Was that all subcontracted through the DJ? (or are you the dj) Or, did you sell it to the school as a package separate from the dj? I do a number of proms so, as the manager of a venue, I end up having to try and sell it since I often don't even meet the dj until the night of the prom. Some dj's come with lights (but not lasers) so, it makes it a harder sell.

The DJ booked the event, and he owns all of the gear. He is a long time friend of mine, and he pays me to setup & run the light/laser show while he DJs.

That's one hell of a party for a high school! Damn - maybe I'm showing my age, but for sure we never had anything like that!

Looks like the crowd was having fun though. And for only 2.3 watts, I'd say it looked damned good.

    Thanks for sharing!
