    Default YAG lamp (NL5017/12)

    Hi All!

    Trying to figure out how much it would be to buy a replacement lamp for a Sharplan 3000 medical YAG.

    Does anyone know the best place to get these in the UK (Europe at least, ideally, if not wherever)?

    Apparently (according to this site http://www.wvs-tech.de/wvs-tech/data...pen/tzdata.php and it seems right) I need:

    6 mm bore diameter
    102 mm arc length
    218 mm overall length
    145 - 155 V @ 40 A

    Any ideas? Thanky!
    R

    Cool, thanks for the tip!

    There's also some damage to the glass tube that surrounds the lamp, is there anything special about this part or can I just find a replacement of the right dimensions?

    OD = 10.92 mm, ID = 8.90 mm L = 109.80

    An emergency Flow tube can be a properly sized chunk of Pyrex or Fused Silica tubing. Professional flow tubes block UV, some IR, and spectral shift some of the undesired light to something useful. So you loose 3-5% of your overall output power, if you do not use a professional flow tube. No flow tube = cracked lamp seals, so do please install something. The ends on Pyrex flow tubes should be flame polished and if possible the tube should be annealed. Pyrex is preferred in this case as it adsorbs UV.

    If LSOS or Kentek can help you, then the flow tube may not be so expensive.

    Thanks! Is this why the one that came out was slightly pink?
