Afternoon built 'Quizcotheque' laser lumia

I spotted a Pub Quiz game in a charity shop the day before a friends 'Quizcotheque' birthday party and decided the box was perfect to build a simple lumia into (my first).




The motor is way too fast (3.3 rpm) but this was built from bits and pieces that were laying around and is a temporary build (obviously).

Diode wise, I am using Red - 650nm@100mW, Green - 532nm@40mw and Blue - 450nm@300mW

My cooling is severely under-rated and after about 3 hours use the green goes into thermal shock, thankfully just reducing power rather than melting and starts nicely after a cool down.

It ran quite happily for at least 10 hours last night/this morning with the odd break for a cool down.
