Default Most Under-rated (over spec) greens

It seems lately manufacturers are delivering lasers that are outputting way more then their rated specs. I've heard great things about Laserwave and for myself have had great luck the dhom's.

It'd be great to know what ranges are common when planning a build, so I just wanted to start this tread to discuss and compare. If you've purchased a green in the last year or two, please share your results. Here's mine :

    500mW CNI MGL-H (purchased Sept 2012) Measured output : 780mW
    500mW CNI MGL-H (purchased Sept 2012) Measured output : 750mW
1W DHOM (purchased April 2013) Measured output : 1640 mW
1W DHOM (purchased April 2013) Measured output : 1700 mW
1W DHOM (purchased June 2013) Measured output : 2110 mW
1W DHOM (purchased June 2013) Measured output : 2030 mW

    2Watt Lasever 2560mW (purchased in 2012)
    2Watt Lasever 2430mW (purchased in 2012)
    2Watt Lasever 2235mW (purchased in 2012)
    2Watt Lasever 2054mW (purchased in 2013)
    2Watt Lasever 2063mW (purchased in 2013)
    2Watt Lasever 2152mW (purchased in 2013)

Seems like I should be using DHOM

300mW CNI MGL-III-532 (purchased in 2010) measured output: 407mW (IR filter inc.)

Speaking with CNI while at a trade show, they would not confirm if they "badged" based on test measurements or not like many cheaper manufacturers (a process used in the semiconductor field known as "binning"). They told me my laser was built and sold as a 300mW that just happened to produce more once dialed in, which was good as output did taper down over several years of use, in fact I recently killed it.

Thinking about it now, I wonder if it would have produced a longer stable output and service life if it was dialed in to 300mW....

    4 x 3w oem cni green all doing 4.5w
Many 1.5w oem cni green all around 2.2 ish w

Wayne, I don't think cni bin, most of the lasers are made to order.

    I had 6x CNI MGL-H 500mW heads that gave between 600 and 1050mW, with the middle 4 between 700 and 900mW.
I also tested them with a couple of different modulated signals, from which the averaged power meter reading gave me a rudimentary indication of their rise time response (the higher power reading must be due to faster rise time/more time spent at full power) so that I could find best matched pairs.
I have had very similar total output power modules with very different responses and they don't work well in RGB projector pairs.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
