Looks good. I used 1" square stock and the length is 1.8" without the mounting ears. I would bet your lens is M9.5 thread. Press in diodes will be fine. I have used that method for years until I came up with the clamp mount.

Make a relief cut about .02 under the dicro area (see pic). This way no pressure can be put on that area by the base plate. Looking forward to how it comes out.. Make two so you can combine them with a PBS cube

I'm going to have to make a standoff to line up with my galvos anyways, I was going to use 0.5x1 bar so relief will be taken care of there. More thermal mass is good too.

Yours is quite sure bit smaller than mine. I'll have to see if I want to bother squishing mine. It's so hard to get the scale of little things like this right on a computer with nothing to hold.

    Tadaaa
I finished the machined block. My mill decided to spas out for some reason so one of my top slots got all messed up. I just decided to stop the program and omit the third slot. I think it will work just fine. Now I just need some 1/8 brass flatbar to make the diode seats

I'm beginning to design my own small RGB projector and just discovered the DTR Bundle and this thread. Sign me up for two as well!
