If your thinking about buying that upgraded mirror mount or a new ILDA cable this week, perhaps there is a better use for the money.
Please take some time to help those less fortunate. The Philippine islands just took one massive hit, and looks like Viet Nam is next.

Care is a good option. 88% gets to where it's needed.

I sent some today. Bit late, but I waited till I had money, more to the point, waited for the DEC appeal in the UK. I don't know how efficient they are, depends on the charities involved I think, but the main problem seems to be organisation, not donation. It's not something I want to get into, so I just waited for what looked like the most organised grouping I knew of to get it together and start their appeal.

Also, PM Cameron said he'd match govt aid to public aid. As trying to get Cameron to spend on public good is like trying to get blood out of a stone, this is as good a way to provoke him as any.

Our newly elected conservative government has cut $4.5billion from our foreign aid budget to fund "essential infrastructure"

Which probably means more $&"%^£€%$ roads! I'm ashamed of our government.
