Nice one Wayne I went for a walk in the Kalamunda hills and also near Lesmurdie falls yesterday.

Here is a panorama I took at my friends house with my phone(a bit rough) if you look on the horizon to the left you can just make out Perth skyline.

Here is one of our little native friends, a bobtail lizard. www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiliqua_rugosa .If they feel threatened they will open their mouth and show you their blue tongue to look scary (not very ).

If anyone has some pics near where they live, let's have a look. Christos showed me some pics of Athens a while ago and I found them very interesting. It doesn't matter if it's urban, suburban or out in the country. What might not be interesting to you might be interesting to us.

    Cheers

    Hey Wayne

If you liked that check out Timescapes http://timescapes.org/

He has filmed and edited this all in 4K resolution (and sells it in various other resolutions including Cineform for watching at your local cinema)

He sells the movie but if you go to trailers you can download them at high res (I purchased the Retina HD video after watching the trailers)

Check out the second trailer around the 1:43 mark for the time-lapse of the radio telescopes
