Default Standalone projectors how-to (no connected PC, no power socket)

EDIT: The way some of the members here have desperately tried to identify my location and nationality for whatever reason they believed was needed for by asking an admin to check my profile logs and researching me by the content of my posts has been very creepy and unnecessary. So bye.

I'm not sure if the RIYA OEM controller would be any good. I have no idea on the price but remember seeing this posted.

I wasn't aware of the existence of that Riya controller with the built-in SD card reader... It's a pity no one else mentioned it before now.

Maybe you can contact Dr Lava and see if he'll accept a return on the un-used unit he shipped to your friend in California?

the etherdream dac is also capable of playing frames/anims from as SD card. it's only 50$ more than the RIYA Lite.

Maybe I should ask my friend from California to whom it got shipped to to sell it or something and I rebuy the RIYA Basic DAC...
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

The Moncha.net card also supports standalone play via an SD card, although from recent investigations it only supports play of a single ild file, so you'll need to output your show to this format to play it.
Goldenstar laser do/did supply finished projectors with the Moncha.net OEM card, I think the cost of the card to be added was 250USD which includes the Moncha software.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

No, you can't buy the Moncha card without the software. The software is a free download, but will only work with the Moncha DAC. Its the same situation as Pangolin FB3/Quickshow.
The Moncha card is compatible with other software however, such as LSX.

If you have a script file in the root directory, etherdream will start playback on boot. Directions are in the manual.
