First, You might want to sneak a peak at the competition and find out how many watts that big green laser of theirs outputs. Then, I would plan to equal or exceed this and add 445. This color is dim by itself but adds a very attractive cyan hue when it approximately equals the 532 power. 445nm light is cheap and 10W is no big deal. PM Chad or DESLI Jon. They might be able to help you.

I think he means that they have green in the football kit/logo, not that they have a green laser

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Forget 445.. Find someone over that-side of the pond with a SpectraPhysics '171' or Coherent I-400 Argon, and a pj with mech- (galvo) blanking and you'll be right as rain... Ya, you'll also need to 'hire a gen-set', and have a dedicated water-supply of at least 22-23 lpm, with a pump capable of 80 psi, but.. Nothing makes the cut for long-throw / 'crisp' graphics projection like an Ion-beam, and the Argon-line set is perfect and very-visible for 'cloud-writing'....

..Biggest-challenge, as-mentioned, is getting the (right-kind of..) cloud-cover to 'perform' on the night of the event.. if this is for something 'ongoing', well.. better chance, and, if you're in an area where cloud-cover is 'typical' / frequent, well, better-still.. but, in-all, you're prolly better off finding a large, visible 'hillside', or a set of high-traffic billboards.. or, even a nice 'crown' on a high-visibility building.. Much more 'bankable' for a one-off promo..

..But, if this is a 'fixed-location' (ie: football-stadium, etc..) perhaps consider hiring a white / light-color 'hot air balloon' for select-games, etc, and project on the side of that? Fairly-easy to keep 'stable-enough' for safe-projections... Just an idea..

Still, if it's gotta be high-visibility Blue, and on clouds, a 15-20W Argon is the sword of choice.. ..'Course this all assumes that my grave-dig advice is not way too-late to matter..

    cheers..
