    Default Lumia sync

Little experiment. Kinda like the results, will be adding this as a controllable option to my setup. Lumia sync to graphic or abstracts.

Thanks guys, kinda odd seeing such fast Lumia on occasion, but really like this especially the timing and color tracking.

    Very nice!

A second scan head for this?

Exactly. I have up to 5 scan heads, so have been playing with different things. Cool also to run each color on a head then apply different effects to each color. Been a fun 4 day break, played with lots of bounce effects, also got some new diffraction filters. One is just a line grating but has a 180 coverage, only a few beams but awesome spread.

That's the way to do it! I want to go old school (maybe too much) - multiple scan heads, separate colors (red, green, blue AND yellow), layered effects, etc. All controlled through DMX and DMX frames. It's as close to Laserium as I will be able to get (even on a very limited scale).

Similar to what I'm doing, just still not sure on using all the scan heads for different colors. What software are you driving it with? I built a DA splitter and then hang a UGC on each head to lay them on top properly. I have full color control on the splitter so I can turn on or off channels. Either way buying multiple DACs and doing the layering in software or the way I am handling it, it isn't cheap. That is for sure. The problem is content creation for the setup. Very little stuff other than laserium seems optimized for the color and effect layers. Even scarier is I have some dual head shows I'd like to try this with but that's 8 heads and 8 UGCs.

I'm starting on the hardware first, then will look at how I end up controlling it later. The single color thing may not pan out, but I think that less is better sometimes. I'll be doing much more than lumia if I can make this work. Yep - not cheap, I'm not in a rush and will chip away at this as I can. I'd like to see what I can do with the FB4 when it becomes available.
