Thanks!

I'm not from Switzerland but from Belgium, and I have no opportunity to work on sensitive parts these times ^^
You should find someone here who will do it, this is a pretty effective forum![]()
Hey Vincent, the cost of new heads is not so high these days which might make it not worth fixing a 1W head anymore.
But: A few question for you.
Are you sure it is the crystal?
Has the original YV04 cracked or become burnt by the pump diode?
Is there any green at all still emitted and if so at what power?.
Did the green beam go to a strange shape before failure?
Did you get a replacement crystal?
Have you opened the case and tried to adjust any of the optics?

For the lower powered greens, the problem is by the time factoring in parts cost and even a very small amount of labour, it's usually cheaper or similar in cost to buy a new one. Especially with all the recent price drops on lasers in the 1-2W area.
Francesco (www.collimated.com) is in Holland and a Pangolin trained tech although whether or not he repairs laser modules, I don't know. Might be worth a try to get someone in your own country for ease of access.
Failing that, Rob (Stanwax) has repaired modules before in the UK.
However, note the comments above re: cost as 1w lasers have dropped in price massively.
Hey,
I got ripped off on the internet and can no longer reach the seller.
Are you sure it is the crystal? I think so, it's the crystal on the picture in the yellow circle.
Has the original YN04 cracked or become burnt by the pump diode? dont know!
Is there any green at all still emitted and if so at what power?. no nothing
Did the green beam go to a strange shape before failure? don't know
Did you get a replacement crystal?' no i have'nd
Have you opened the case and tried to adjust any of the optics? yes that I have tried, but now it's no longer aligned
Can u tell me what the costs of a new head is?
Regards,
Vincent

How do you know it's the crystal ? Do you get measurable IR output from the diode ? (Note, be very careful as IR can be particularly dangerous as you can't see it so no blink reflex). Best not to run the laser with the case open if you don't have experience with IR, or good safety glasses rated for 808nm and 1064nm.
Re price, a 1W CNI or Laserwave can be had for about the $450 area nowadays
Looks like an easy fix as long as your IR diode is working. I've turned lots of the B&W Tek BWB-10-OEM's that a lot of us bought and used these small crystals http://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-Laser-Pum...item1c277ab0f7 in place of the LBO's, modified the mount and align and get this out of them.![]()
