Default Laserworld cs-1000 rgb falis and i dont know why or what happened

    Hello
I am new here and in laser projections and I found this forum of great help as of now, I have a big problem and I don't know how to solve it.
Recently I bought a Laserworld - 1000 RGB, I only have it for two weeks and yesterday started to fail, now it doesn't project nothing.
First all that was projecting was a straight vertical line and today I took it of and tested a bit, I see that the scanner mirrors donīt move and when they do they are not projecting as it should. On small hits on the top of the scanner they start move a bit but then they stop again.
I attached two photos of the projection was making and all the figures werenīt clear!
Sorry for my bad English and I do hope that someone can help me out and tell me what might be the problem, and if it has easy solution
    Thank you

Your problem is that you bought a laserworld projector.
    These are awfull projectors.

Where did you buy it? I'd ask a refund.
Tell us in what country you live and buy a projector from a respectable user that lives near you is my advice.

    Hey Dorkserv

Welcome to PL! Where are you in the World?

I had a similar problem with some cheap galvos just before a show, so opened it up and found a dry solder joint on one of the galvo amp potentiometers.

It would have been quick to fix had I not been in a badly lit barn on a slatted bench - I spent ages looking for nuts and washers!

Thank you for your fast answers! I am located in Spain, bought the projector directly with laserworld and I only have it for 2 weeks, I will gladly appreciate if I can find a solution to sort it out, I have a small pub and this is why I bought a cheap one

I hope you are only planning to project it well overhead.

I noticed from your photos that you have it projecting onto the bar side / stools / floor. Maybe thats only to show the patterns, I don't know.

But are you aware what 1W of laser power can do to eyes?

Sorry that's slightly off topic with your original post, but I just want to make sure you are aware of the safety dangers here.

it is not where I do the projections, I was just testing it on that wall, projections are made on a 20m hallway

Seconded White-light's warning about lasers and eyes! They don't feel the damage but it doesn't mean that it is not happening!

If it's that new, send the laser back! Laserworld are not renowned for their quality and messing with it might void your warranty.

It could just as well be a loose cable connector from the amps to the galvos, or PSU to amp, so if you are opening it up, pull them off and push them back on again, unless they are covered in glue!

Dorkserv, they need to be overhead as those powers are damaging to the eyes. As long as they are you should be ok.

As to your issue, if the laser is only 2 Weeks old, you want to be contacting Laserworld. Personally I'd be asking for my money back, as there are in my opinion better quality budget options and a failure after 2 weeks doesn't inspire confidence.

    Bring it back.
Tell us how much you paid for it.
Tell us where you are located

Then maybe someone can make you a deal for a better projector for the same budget or close to it.
The CS1000RGB is really bad, especially the galvos, awfull awfull bearings on them.

Friend of mine had lended one for a show and told me about this (bearings were so bad he could move the shaft up and down with his finger).
