I can't make Memorial weekend, that's a big money weekend for SPFX :-(
Any news?
Or should I stay home with my dirty stories?

I've been waiting on Andrew here at West Newbury to give me a date that he is available, but he has not replied, so lets just set a date-I still can get a pig to roast. How about June 14-15? Eric, are you good for that?
Sure, I'll try to get away early on the 13th because there is a fair amount to pack. This will also give me a little more time to get the 506 based projectors squared away.
Ok then, we are on for June 13,14,15. Get the word out, I'll start preparing the bonfire for the pig pit, and I'll make contacts to get the pig--size of which we be determined by how big a group we have. Planters-can you contact Krazer and see if he is around for a visit? Or we could just storm MIT--BYW, I know the dockmaster at the MIT sailing pavilion-we could have a small afternoon party there or lunch before or after seeing Krazer. Lasers and sailing! Could anything be better?
I just got a commitment from Andrew for Saturday's show--two 15 watt lasers and fog machines. Now to line up that pig....
I'll be bringing 4 projectors along with the comps to run them. I only use Beyond; do you know if Andrew has any other software? If I remember correctly, there would be a very natural, terminated outdoor field that could be projected across. Are you still thinking about this? Maybe you want to divide between the arena and outside? Do you think Andrew might advise here. You know what I mean?
Anyway, about the sailing, do you mean on the Charles or offshore? Either way I'm game. I'll check with Krazer. I suspect the term will have ended and this might be good unless he decides to take off.
Also, as I understand it Andrew has some sort of a regular gig in Boston on Saturday nights. It might be cool, if this is true, to wrap up an excursion into town with a trip to that club before returning to the LEM.
With Andrew's 2 and mine that make 7 total committed. I'll piggyback on yours or Andrew's system. I'll take pics of the setup tonight so you can see what is available. We can project inside, outside, or in a huge field out back that terminates in trees. (That's where I'm roasting the pig.) Sailing is on the Charles, and it is a perfect time as the kids are out of school, but before the summer programs begin. The boats hold 8 people, and the dockmaster is my daughter's boyfriend. Andrew's gig is on Friday night, so we could visit Krazer on Friday, sail on the Charles, and go to Andrew's gig that night. Saturday will be more setup and laser show and pig. Sunday recover....
This is coming together nicely. With that as a framework, as others commit the size of the shows and the equipment will be clearer.
For what its worth you aren't planning to roast the pig with the lasers? Would you be cooking in the field or in those terminating trees.![]()
