My 506s just arrived:-) Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to mount them.
Sweet! Which amps are you using for yours?
I had hoped to have my projector finished last night but alas, I popped a green diode and have one coming from Jordan posthaste. Hopefully it will arrive today or tomorrow. I am dying to try these out, pitting them against DT40s and PT40s.

I had Bill modify my existing DT40 amps. I just need to find some one to machine me an adapter plate & I'll be up & running! As I mentioned a few posts back this projector has an identical twin still equipped with DT40 pros, so I'll be doing a comparison as soon as I can.
That's cool. With a few of us showing results from side by side tests, this will give a pretty honest and unbiased review of these scanners since no one party will be testing/using them. I still can't get over how small they are! With the size of the PT20 amps and the PSU for the PT20s, I am positive a 5" cube would be more than possible. A 5" cube, 300mW RGB with 30K (10°~13°) galvos.... that would be pretty sweet!

I'm looking forward to this.As I mentioned a few posts back this projector has an identical twin still equipped with DT40 pros, so I'll be doing a comparison as soon as I can.
Stiffler,
It looks like you figured how to mount these in 4 hours or, did you mean how to mount the mount?
Did anyone specify the mirror size when they ordered these from Pangolin? I need a 5mm aperture.
MY original set were specced with larger mirrors. I'm not sure which the new ones are coming with as customs are messing about with the delivery for some reason. Hopefully be released soon.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?
I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
looking forward to getting mine and I agree 5" cube should be possible.
I agree. Having built a 12 inch cube and only used half of the space with my PT-40s. These 506s should easily fit in a 5" cube with some strategic placing of the components.
