This is a test that really interests me! Curious to hear (and see) more...

Ok, for whatever reason, the QM and .net box is back to working. I guess leaving it turned off for a bit did the trick.

Hehe, so less buyer's remorse? ;-)

If I understand the test setup correctly, where you have essentially "Y-cable" the three projectors together, then it would be impossible for one projector to flicker any more than another projector.

There could be some psycho-visual effect going on here, whereby the brightness or contrast ratio of the ClubMax would be different, thereby making one projector APPEAR to flicker more or less than the others, but this most certainly wouldn't be a scanner phenomenon but rather a visual-perception phenomenon... You could try turning off the lights which might help with this.

Actually... it was caused by the scan fail card. Once you turned it off, it projected the same as the others.

To be totally fair.... I've watched better than two dozen shows today of all varieties. Beams, graphics, abstracts, ones with text, some rather complicated and, the perceptible difference between the three was negligible. I can see some areas where the 6215's are a hair better and I can see a few areas where the PT-A40's are a hair worse. I can also see one area with the Clubmax (we'll not say "506's") that was weaker than the other two and that was an issue we talked about a while back and you made a video about which has been hard to locate. It's also the reason you borrowed the Plutos. And that is fans of dots. The Clubmax, more so than the other two had a more distinct line running through it making them almost look like little Saturns with the rings extending out on either side. Slowing down the scanner speed cleared them up some but, at the end of the day, only a laserist is going to notice and, more so from watching from behind the projector as opposed to being in front.

But... in the end, I'll not say there is anything wrong with the 506's because as has been discussed, the amps have an awful lot more to do with it than the galvo does. Therefore...... how long 'til Mach Mini's??

    Buyer remorse??? Nah. It's cute.

Oh, and yes.... the Showtime_M.exe seemed to work. Thanks! So does running the show from Beyond as opposed to Showtime.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
