No, it is also not possible as this module is designed to combine 4 diodes linear or as L-shape. There is no dual diode mount which would be easy to make but the baseplate is not designed to have two dual combiners mounted on it.

Thanks, will give it more thought.

Maybe I could use 3x units, pbs each colour in it's own module.

Yes, this way it will work and youŽll get a nice and very compact RGB system.

    Hello Lasertack,

Do you also have L-mounts for 3,8mm diodes ??
Please can you give me the dimensions of the L-mount ??

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi!

In stock are only linear mounts. But L-Mounts for 3,8mm diodes can be made easily. The size is 40 x 30 x 17,7mm. How many pcs. do you need? For low qty. the price is pretty high. It would be about 60€ more per combiner set.

Thnks Lasertack !! Das ist wirklich toll !!
At the moment don't need many of those...
Tomorrow i can see how much money is left after i paid the bills.
    I think i will be in for 1 L-mount or 1 Quad-Mount.
It's only for developing a module for myself to see what's possible etc.
After a couple of months.. think about 4-6 months i need more of them
And need a lot of drivers at that time is there any discount when buying more ?
First i need to move somewhere else.. need a new home,
because i live in a small room at the moment. I need cash to move so i need to collect money :P
I miss my hobby and wanna do something... need to be busy with laser related things to clear my mind

Really nice The L-mount will fit perfectly in the small housing from edison in this thread :

    http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...odule-housings

    I like to build a nice RGB full diode with the 120mW 450nm (single mode) , 120mW 520nm (single mode) & 120mW 638nm or 170mW 637nm (single mode)

I have seen some video's... the colors in animations are perfect ! perfect modulation and perfect white beam quality !
