Is there anybody do some working about FTTH?

I think Verizon is working on bringing Fiber To The Home here in the United States... However, they are only working in limited markets (because of the high cost of running the fiber) and the last time I checked, it was going to be *years* before it would be available in my area. Sigh...

I understand that FTTH is a lot more popular in other countries, particularly in Asia, though Europe is also rolling out different plans.

My neighbor works for BellSouth here in Florida and he told me we have fiber up to the junction in our subdivision which is about 6 blocks from my house. I don`t know when it will come all the way to the house but I see them working out there quite often.

FTTH,yes ,really worth expect in the future. Now in Japan, FTTH is on the way. I know WuHan China, one living community had been installed.
