I use Spaghetti occasionally. I have never seen a manual. The only reference is the Help file that is part of the software. The best way to learn is to download some of the free shows on the HingedNewt website and see how they were created.

My "help file" only contains license info, no info, direction or basic operational guide.

I can confirm that there is no manual out there. It did`nt take me to long learning the basics with Spaghetti. Just start fiddeling around, and you should be able to start producing some simple shows. I kind of like Spaghetti as it is a simple and stright forward program. As Turbohead states. Download some shows, and look how the shows are made.
Remember there are two ways of saving a show in spaghetti. Projects and shows. Projects are editable, and shows are not.

As i can remember, there are a couple of files available in the PL FTP section.

    Default Laser Gods

Sometimes i think there are "Laser Gods" that look down on me and laugh...."lets make this hobby i real bitch for this one" LOL LOL
I cant complain too much, yet....I once bought an Ex race horse, big ass thoroughbred that i thought i would use as a trail horse when i lived up in Big Bear, Ca...
That debacle was a true "money pit". After 2 years and $7,000 i gave up and moved on. Same with Boats....Somethings work something dont...Lets see where i am with this next year!

All hobbies are expensive, and you usually lose money. Men are prone to jump head first into the first thing that tickles their fancy. If that wasnt true we'd have less divorce, LOL. Women have been a hobby of mine for a long time.

So I always run theses rules through my head before taking a dive into a new venture.

    1. Cost VS loss. Can I afford to lose the money if I lose interest, or bad times hit.
    2. Do I have a natural love for it, or is it a wanton curiosity, or need.
    3. Research. Can I spend as much time as I need learning about the venture before I commit.
    4. Patience. Do I have the patience to wait out the lows that can, and will occur during research, and execution.

If you answer NO to any of these, save your money, and time, and look for something more fulfilling.

The hobby Gods can only laugh at you if you're ill equipped. If you have everything lined up right they can only smile.

Edit: Damn, I gotta go to bed. I get real philosophical this time of morning.

Bottom line play with it till you figure out how to use it. Just like your first woman, or computer. Its half the fun.

I'd like to think the process of using Spaghetti is straightforward. Create a show, import ILDA files, drag them to the timeline, apply effects. If you have specific questions I will be very happy to answer them or help walk you through certain scenarios. I don't remember any specific questions in the forum or sent to me via email.

As we are discussing the topic. Does anybody using Spaghetti 2.0.3 experiencing shifting of the sync after saving the project?. I have made a couple of shows where this happens. Trying to resync til timeline end up in the same result after saving. It seems that the syncproblem starts after 20-30 seconds, and are stable after that. (Same timeshift for the rest of the show).

I have tried to locate what event in the timeline that causes the delay, but it seems that changing to different ild files, small or big give the same result.

I have to assume at this point that something is wrong with my spaghetti because there is no ability to drop n drag or other as described.... Is there anyone willing to make a short video show how this happens.? Im surprised that no basic manual or short video clips were not made to assist the blind who purchase. at least a frame of reference to compare to what they are experiencing...It actually motivates me to save up for QS, knowing that it has support, video series, etc.,

I think that is a task left for experienced users, my training wheels wont be removed for another year. I asked for help on the Spaghetti Forun trying to locate the informal manual created by a user but to my dismay, NOT 1 person would reply. My plea was followed by others looking for the same info. So there is a pattern, a need for some basic documentation for new users, if only to get us syatted, identify troubleshooting issues.
