Laser Warning USED: Red 638 nm RGBLASERSYSTEM module 500 MW

    Hi,

I have here 2 pieces of these RGBLASERSYSTEM 500 mW Red modules. Those grey ones.

This one is complete with driver but somehow it doesn't work.
The diodes have been checked and measured and seem to be OK, still no output is coming from this one.
It comes complete with it's cover of course and the driver.

Please suggest a price for this as I have no clue.
Even if the diodes are " gone" then there is a huge amount of beautiful optics in there which you could harvest.
So I am open to your suggestions per PM preferably.

This one works but get's quite hot very quickly which makes me think that either the TEC is not working properly or the driver needs some retuning.
As I have no experience with retuning such drivers so I will not even try to.

As this is a working unit comprised out of 3 c-mount diodes of 200 mW which do work ( just needs some TLC ) , I would like to ask to respect this fact and suggest an appropriate price for this. Again, please only via PM, so we keep the thread clean.

When an items is sold I will update this listing.

    Hi PeterB
    Nice module,
Interesting to see the beam profile and coupling with beam shaping, however i don't understand the last step after PBS Cube and after rotating polarisation mirror assembly.
    Not easy to guess!
    Good sale

If you buy it and fix it you can investigate further

    Hi ,

I can spend € 50 for the pair, complete with driver, and a minimal shipping cost too...

    Cheers
