Question about software to control laser show by step motor mirror????

Hey light beings,

I have 3 stepmotors and a computer controller but i was wondering if anyone here knows of any laser show software that uses 2 stepmotored mirrors???

That technique is very outdated. You'll have to write your own code.

As Steve said - It is very outdated and usually only employed by the cheapest of manufacturers.

Galvanometers are where it's at now for laser display. You can pick them up pretty cheap and the outcome will be far more satisfactory.

As Galvonaut points out, you will be far better off getting a pair of galvos. I guess you will be able to get a pair just under USD 100,- incl freight if you pick off the lowest shelf.
