Default how many points per second at custom angle?

So if a scanner says it can do 40K at 8 degrees or 30k at 15 degrees, and the max angle is 60, how can I measure what the pps will be at a custom angle like 30 or 60?

You can not assume, you have to test. PPS is a measure of the small angle, 3dB down, frequency response of the scanners. Most software packages give you a way to set scan speed accurately You then use the standard test pattern to make your measurement.
