not yet. I must admit to being a little p'd off with the seller. They insisted on instant payment, and I duly obliged. That was Thursday evening then come Sunday I get an email saying your order has been passed. Ok so it means it s gonna be on the wasy soon but Instant pay should mean prompt service. If they are too busy to provide prompt service then shouldnt insist on the instant pay thing - or at least make it clear that there will be a delay.

Anyway im only impatient cos I wanna get my mits on it

Not sure if it has been posted but read some fab is stepping up production of these things for burners. Going rate is $400 for a 150mw diode. Of course, that is what the fab will sell them at so who knows what it would be once a consumer could get their hands on it. Regardless, it is good news to read that production is really stepping up. Won't be long before you can get a burner for $50.

I hope you are right - it happened with the DVD burners and they slowly gained momemtum. Here in the UK once they got below about £100 they seemd to drop £5 a week til the price no of (on average) £20.
It may take blu ray 18moths or 2 years but im sure it will. Especially when blu ray for PC takes off.
