    Default Greetings, Got YLF?

    I'm in beautiful upstate NY.

Installing a system using Nd:YLF for the Oscillator and Pre-amp. 1" diameter and 3" diameter ND:glass rods for the amplifiers. The doubling crystal is 3.5 by 3.5 by 1 inch.

Who says the flashlamp is dead? Diodes could not pump this.

Use is, um, ..... well, never mind.

20+ Joules of green, a new personal operations record. 527 nm not 532, Beautiful green.

Glasses need to be OD7.5! minimum!

You know your having fun when the spatial filter pinholes have to be in a vacuum.

Obviously pics are not allowed for many reasons, but it sure would be neat to see some of the things you work on.

..and yes, YLF makes a really-purdy Green.. definitely-perceivable color difference.. Looks amazing mixed w/ Argon-blues, too..
