Great work!
What tools did yo use to capture the movements and animate the model ? 3:17 till 3:46
Pretty neat results. It's 3d max. For convert to .ild I'm use plugin Ilustrate! and ILD SOS.
How did you capture the movements?
I know you can buy 3ds stock models.
But is there some place where you can buy stock-3d max animations ?
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
That's awesome work!
The skating rink at 2:40 full of sharp corners and tons of points looks great. I would love to see how that frame was made and the scanners / scan angles you are using to project it.

I use the library movement in .bvh or .bip format. Some can be found in free access on the Internet.
Thanks! It is a pleasure to read from ILDA Award winner.
Thanks! I am using the CT6800 scanners at 30 degrees and 35kpps. In this file about 2000 points.

Nice show. I'm actually a little more curious about the presentation of the show, as opposed to the content creation.
How large was the scrim? In order to satisfy a large venue or audience with rear screen projection, I know the image needs to be pretty large.
With the camera, you were able to zoom in and just capture the laser output. In real life, our eyes can't do that. When the lights were on, it looks as though it might not have been as big as you might have preferred.. Was it large enough in person to be effective?
What were the beams terminated on? Obviously the ice for a lot of it but, was there an audience seating area at the other end of the rink?
What power, approximately, was that projector? Again, I'm just wondering running that display, in a venue that large.
Thanks!
Size ice rink about 30х60m. Screen size 8x6m. Viewers were located on the side tribunes. Maybe the screen size was not large enough, but unfortunately there was not a technical opportunity to hang larger screen.
