FYI--The Lexel88 I believe is water cooled so you'd have some plumbing involved, not as easy as solid state diode..

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for your help and advice. There has been some good information for me to work with here.
I have emailed several suppliers for laser modules but I seem to get a very low response rate.
I even emailed some of the guys on this forum who sell but no replies yet.
I seem to have no trouble finding websites with high pricing like $25,000 US$ for a 100mw green... I must be finding the scientific stuff. Lasers in the 800mw to 3 watt range cant be that hard to find you wouldnt think !!. The guys building the turnkey systems must be getting them from somewhere at better prices than $25K...
    Anyone got any ideas ??
Can anyone point me to a thread on comparing DPSS modules with the "old school" tubes in terms of "beam brightness"..
Whatever the outcome many thanks once again for your help and your warm welcome to this forum.
    Ray

But a lot more fun involved especially if you like tinkering

The OEM lexel88's/psu's require a bit of work getting them operational, but value for money in terms of blue photons is a major plus

Ill try to get the stuff on the oem psu scanned in soon for you Yadda..

DPSS green is roughly 3-4 times the perceived brightness of a argon laser btw
