    Default Vertical Scrolling text?

I don't often use the scrolling text feature much as I've not had much call for it but for something I am trying to do I would like to write a message with the text scrolling from the top of the screen to the bottom down the y axis? I'm sure I've seen it somewhere in Beyond but can't seem to figure it out?

Letter by letter scrolling vertically (marquee style) or word by word like movie credits in reverse? I am pretty sure you mean marquee style, I just want to make sure.

...or with the "tops" of the letters facing the left or the right side of the frame?

I think that should be pretty easily done with a simple rotation, so I'm guessing you meant something else.

Letter by letter ideally, scrolling from top to bottom or bottom to top but each letter would be upright in a vertical row.

Yeah, I am playing with it and I am not making the grade either. This *might* be a pangoscript type of deal. I really need to learn that language. As for abstracts, I need to move past the GUI.

For the text, I am trying to make it force the text to be one letter per paragraph, then you could just use a position keying effect. I can't seem to get an individual letter, line by line.

I think I might have it:

    Type your message
click on the Character effect tab and select Key - Effect>Rotation. Rotate on Z axis. You'll need to adjust the letter spacing in the first tab. Then go to the Text Effect tab and add Key - Effect>Rotation and Rotate Z axis to flavor. I didn't get it exactly to 90°, but you get the point! From top to bottom though, you may have to go -90° on each.

    Hi
    Correct.

We had the same think 1-2 years ago, needed to project on a high chimney, with BEYOND. So Alexey Add a left, center, right and letter spacing in the menu then you make the txt scroll vertial.
    Works great. :-)
