    Default DRSSTC

Anyone built one before, I expect 4' streamers out of this when done, hopefully within a month, just scored the remaining parts pretty cheap, 3000uf caps at 400V finally came my way.

Ouch my hands hurt from all the winding, 1140 turns on the secondary, then the tightly fitted primary.

Nice. I've never built one but I did read up on it once. It looks like you're doing it right. Keep it well away from fragile electronics, as far as I know those things can induce destructive currents at greater range than most people expect. If you can get a load of large metal boxes to put small digital stuff in, so much the better. This risk is what put me off building one.

I have only stayed the the SGTC realm but this man: http://scopeboy.com/tesla/ has done almost all of them, save for maybe a vacuum tube TC. Good luck though. Can't wait to see the finished arcs!
