I just measured mine with a set of digital callipers and got 11.98mm for the copper and 11.88 for the ally barrels. I only measured the 1 as I don't want to touch them too much until I'm ready to install them (ESD and all that!). They come from DTR with the wires twisted together to give a measure of protection but better safe than sorry.

.02 mm is pretty damn tight tolerances. that's better than your caliper can actually measure (unless its a REALLY good one) but that's good enough for me. My 2thou radius oversize plus a 5thou clamp will work just fine. Lovely. Thank you for your assistance.

Go to pick up the plates and support posts today. Will be drilling and tapping the M3 and M4 holes myself as I didn't realise how much having the machine shop do it was going to cost

Should be ready for building by the end of the weekend (fingers crossed)

Unfortunately, I got the measurement of the plates wrong (they're too big which is better than too small I suppose). So they have to be trimmed down a couple of mil. I have marked up where the holes have to be and will start drilling them in what ever free time I get this week while I'm waiting on a price for the extra work.

Been a while but I have an update.

I finally got time (and inclination) to drill and tap the plates after they came back from the machine shop. Did a bit of work on the case I'm going to use and it is all coming together nicely.

Here are some piccys of the state of play:

Wiring next, then case modification, then reveal!

The loose wires are the +/-/Gnd 24v power wiring for the scanner drivers and the Stanwax ILDA board. Realised I need a connecting block for these so that will be a job for tomorrow.

Also tomorrow, lasers to LaseOrb to FlexMod wiring and that will be it. Test firing and setup of FlexMods (low power for now)... But I'm getting ahead of myself!

    Very tidy job! Nicely done!

Can you flip the orientation of one of the galvo driver boards?
It will be easier to get to the pots if you need to tune anything (just sayin')

The colour correction board mιght be overkill for an all DI diode setup, just give it to me

Hey WolfMax, Is that a Color addon board for the STANWAX Ilda interface board? If so does it add much in the height of the module?
