.... but we just don't get weather like this in southern California. I initially didn't know what the rukus was until I went outside. The temperature had dropped a lot and the lightning was right overhead. All the while, these were falling on my house:


Some of these developed flat spots on them because I had put them in the freezer until my camera battery could charge. I have lived in southern California for 34 years and in Houston for 2 years. In my entire life, I have never seen hailstones this large. We even had a Tornado warning early this morning.

Those could hurt! Strange weather all over the earth. Here's a Texas size hail stone. I didn't measure them but they were pretty big. They beat the hell out of my van!

Jesus! That is some insane hail! That is some intense weather you guys have out there.

That hail was in Dallas last May. I have since moved to an area of Costa Rica where it's around 70F year round. I don't think we get hail here. But you never know!
