If you mean the smoke effect used in concerts I think those use some kind of gas cylinders

I'm pretty sure its not a specific type of fog fluid generating that effect and I don't think there are fog machines so powerful they can generate fog from ordinary fog fluid so fast that they will be "blasting" it. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

However if you consider something like this blasting then just mix propylene glycol with distilled water for very quickly dissipating fog. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eBDP_qDWMg

These are literally just ordinary fog machines with led on them which trick the audience into thinking the fog appears and disappears quickly (is blasted) by illuminating it accordingly.

yep what is shown there is a compressed gas based solution and it is expensive but instantly on and repeatable untill you run out of gas.

Only other alternate solution that i have seen with explosive amount of medium like that is hacked washing machine (LID has hole with AC ducting stuff) running hot water cycle, then dropping dry ice basket in top huge amount of atmos media generated untill water cools down (pretty quick).
