First blu ray results in...

First results are in and it looks like this (quick and dirty test at midnight)

threshold like Leslie said around 27-28mA
then with LC set to 405nm

30mA 2.68mW
35mA 9.45mW
40mA 13.3mw
45mA 17.0mW

Will run some less hurried tests tomorrow and report

PS I dunno where they got the name Blu ray appart from it sounds better than violet or purple ray
it most certainly isnt blue!

Aww man... No pictures? Those things florece... is that a word? They florece things very nice. It'd be nice to see one at 100mW. You plan on making a pointer like spec's or a module like marconi's?

As it happens I have taken loads of pics but it was late when I posted and I do neen my beauty sleep
and yes they do make stuff flourece. Its f**kin wicked! Florecence with laser speckle.

Yep them sleds are real gooood.
Unfortunately I have killed the little blighter before I could have real fun with it.
I did take some pix which Im gonna post in a little while but what I have done now its dead is dissected it so I will include pics of the insides showing the 3 laser diodes - yes 3 and odd little things like green light ooozing out of the sides of the violet diode.
