    lol, dont waste time with solidworks for a simple front panel..

    Just go here: http://www.frontpanelexpress.com/

    Download their free software and place cutouts from their libraries... Upload the file for a instant price before they make it..

    ok got frontpanel to download. I have no idea which cutouts are the correct ones.. i pick one of the 12 dmx cuttouts.. then pick a db25 cutout and the dmx cuttout is larger than the db25?! makes no sense....

    Which version of solidworks is that?

    I'm using autodesk inventor on mac and solidworks on windows
    what software did you use?
    if you are not planning to go beyond the limits of front panels
    dont waste time with solidworks for a simple front panel..
    Also you can cast a glance at google sketchup
    I can attach a .dxf/dwg drawing here to have a reference point for you
    I have no idea which cutouts are the correct ones
    ..

    That would be great as i have no idea what the standard sizes or tech names of these plugs are called..

    I see something called Quickon, would that be the cutout for powercon/ethercon?

    and "SubD connector 25 Pole" LOOKS like the DB25 connector, but its barely bigger than the DB9 cutout... confusing. lol

    ethercon and XLR D serises has same cutout print
