You're always going to have signal to noise issues on any forum. People need banter, its a fact of life. A forum with no noise is a Wiki page. Thats why the Lounge section was created.

Also, there is a difference between being a prude and having tact.

My boss, and corporate most likely actively read PL because I asked to go to SELEM in between company trips. So do the security types of the places I visit for work, because I'm sure Not that Agency and its even more secret brethren look at what I do, every cent I spend, every cent I earn, and whom my friends are. So please keep Porn out of PL. Porn, Personal Debt, Excessive Personal Spending and Talk of ANY drugs, even legal ones, upsets these folks to no end. I have to live a very clean life, like it or not.

As one security guy said to me before I entered a military place, "You sure are a very interesting man, Mr. R" He had just spent the past four minutes reading summary screens on my life. Lots of them. Before he even had me do the fingerprint scan. And I don't even hold a SS*I or similar.

I'm with Swami on this one. My employers make me hold to morals ever more tightly then my very conservative church leadership. They do look at Face-Ache, Flittering nonsense, etc.

That's fine that you have no tact but because others do, you cannot label them a prude. Also, just because it is your favorite pastime, doesn't make it okay to foist it on everyone else. I like telling racist jokes amongst my close friends but I don't do it here because it is tactless and can be taken the wrong way.

Gentlemen, this is a PUBLIC forum. People are allowed to talk about their personal lives here. I understand your work situations, but may I suggest that if your job is that sensitive maybe you should not be reading public forums while at work. Even better, stop posting on threads that you dont want to associate yourself with. You are basically telling me I have to watch what I say because your boss/organization may read it, and judge you by the word I type. How insanely silly is that? I love all you guys, so please dont think I'm busting your chops on this, I'm not. You guys are taking this way beyond reality here. Have you read the Jokes thread? I have, and there are far worst stories than what I posted here.

This is the Lounge section. In real life what do you talk about in a lounge? Women, sex, politics, jokes, sports, opinions, and life stories. Do I have to watch what I say about my political beliefs because the clown you work for has an opposite opinion? Do I have to root for their favorite sport team so he doesnt get offend? How can you even ask me to hold my opinions because of some guy that pays your check? Its not like I'm writing about making bombs, tactical information, hurting or killing people. I'm not trying to turn the forum into 4chan. Its a simple thread, with a simple yet funny story, that is all. You guys are completely over reacting, and obviously are trying to kill this thread. Why not kill all the treads, and posts that mention a sex act? How about making a list of things your boss doesnt like read so we can all watch what we say on this public forum?

Seriously guys, give me a break. If your jobs are on the line over a post about a transvestite on a public forum you read then maybe you should find another job because there are far worst things posted here.

It's mainly because sex is a private thing. Sex doesn't offend me but the intimate moments that two people share together don't need to be broadcast either.

Thats fine, but my life is an open book, every part of it. You are on LPF, you should know this.

Also having no tact, shame, or guilt has gotten me into more girls pants than I can count. No joke, women love forward men. I'm fat, balding, and hairy but have always had great luck due to my personality. So naturally this is part of my personality permanently. As I recommended, if this offends anyone they should add me to their ignore list because its not going to change. Not for a bunch of easily offended internet men anyway, LOL.
