No offense but I don't think people consider this off value to PL nor it's community and regarding the case of it being a private thing or not, respect the others as well and just keep stuff like this to yourself.
It's alright to be open about it, but this forum isn't exactly made for these kind of things, you should know better.

My take on this is that it is a laser show/laser related forum. Some of the sub-forums on here are very specific in nature. This is a catch all sub-forum It's a good place to talk about LEMs and other things that laser show minded people might enjoy hearing about. I'm sure there are other forums that cater to people who want to talk about their porn viewing habits. Why not post there if that is what you are into? I have many hobbies but I don't post about them all in "The Lounge". The reason I don't do it isn't because it isn't right or because it isn't allowed. I don't do it because no one cares and it isn't relevant to the community. It's all about respect.

I think this was a bit of an oops. I understand your points and I won't belabor this, but there are undoubtedly many places you can converse about this and where it would be received with enthusiasm. I AM easily offended and I cherish that trait in others. I'm not saying that it's good to be a quivering bowl of gelatin, but I think that our modern society has lost some respect for polite language and decorum. If you have read my extensive political rants you probably know what I believe has caused this. In any case, I think you would come across as VERY GRACIOUS if you would apologize for this post even if you don't think it's that big a deal. I think it would be very well received.

Umm, no, it wasn't. Most people here (that have been thru the 'Jokes' thread..) know there is 'NSFW' stuff in there, and they likely avoid it, whilst at werk.. However, there was *nothing* in your 'title', that told me I was going to shortly be reading about one of yer sexcapades - Not what I - nor, everyone-else, here, so far - expected.. "The first time the internet shocked me" ≠ "a story about Lola"

..I mean, it could very-well have been a light hearted little story about how you actually got shocked.. say, by your cable modem, whilst stretching up to clean your over-desk fishtank, all in post nudist-closet 'Commando-style'.. ..amiright? ..So, yeah, you shoulda just had the 'courtesy' to put a 'NSFW' in the title, imo.. Then, = no complaints, dig?

You already know my opinion so I think an apology is obviously useless. I wouldnt apologize, or make up excuses for being myself anyway. Do you think my sig is a joke? I live by that rule. You either love me, or you dont. I'm not changing my behavior for people who could care less for me. Would all of you change yours for me?? I think the majority of members in this thread confirms the answer I already know. So explain to me again why I should change mine? Sorry but the saying "because I say so" died with my father.

I accept everyone here. There are plenty of people I dont like here, but I try to respect their right to exist here, as many have done that for me. But I've also been lied to, called names, and strung along by a few members here. To me this is FAR worst than telling a silly story. You dont see me calling them out on the open forum. Yet everyone feels free to openly dump on me because I open a thread asking people to post what first freaked them out on the internet? A transvestite freaked me out. So what? Its only tiny moment in my life that I told to an adult male forum. I thought it would be funny, guess not. I dont see all of you harping on other members WHO HAVE SAID WORST. Am I special or something? Do I have to pull quotes of these other statements, and then you can explain to me why those are OK, and why mine are not? You guys are acting like I'm telling full page Penthouse stories all over the forum. I wrote a quick blurb about a transvestite in the OT section of the forum, get over it already. Tomorrow will still come, your children will still love you, no one will get fired, and the world will not stop turning.

I'm sorry I scarred the emotional state of an adult male forum. My bad. It never occurred to me a story of a transvestite would threaten the insecurities of so many men. It wont happen again.

@Gary The Lounge is here to talk about non-laser related topics. Many forums have them.

I'm not wasting my time talking about this anymore. You guys killed the thread, lets all get past it now. Or keep bumping my story to the top of the list for everyone to read. Either way I'm good.

He is just telling a story, without any picture, without any link and in the lounge section. At the end of the story... his wife and him were laughing ! So I could not see were it offense you.


What I dislike the most at the moment is a stupid war between two galvos maker...... one is spamming the other one but nobody is offended like in this thread....

I don't wish to discuss porn on a laser and art technology forum. Time to apologize, cease, and desist. Bad enough I have to spammed by hundreds of ads a week, junk emails, and targeted ads. I work in a job where having a normal family or friendship relationship is difficult, on the road. Thus I do not need to fight off any more immoral garbage then I already do.
