    Rob's adapters break out +/- X, +/-Y, ILDA interlock, R+,G+,B+,R-,G-,B- ground, & shutter therefore requiring the additional pairs

    I do remember able telling me if i wanted the Ethernet connection on the back of my projector i had to get the electronic shutter instead of the mechanical.

    Default RJ45 is ok for laser projector without FDA standards

    RJ45 is not FDA standards completely, if you use ABLE laser in USA, It is better that you use DB25, not RJ45. ABLE laser DB25 is 100% FDA standards.
