I saw it in real yesterday, and yes that was impressive!

Extreme scan speed, with large scan angle and mirrors sized to work with a true 3mm beam.

The scanners inside are the Saturn 1 .

I also spent a fair amount at Pangolin booth and had a demo of the scanners as well as the advanced DPS amp functionalities by Bill, these things are pretty amazing!

On HB-Laser booth there was a nice side-by-side scanner comparison with major manufacturers actual hot products (CT, Eyemagic, Pangolin).
From left to right : Eyemagic EMS-5100 (integrated amp), Pangolin 506, Pangolin Saturn, Eyemagic EMS-8000, CT-6210

By the way, the whole baseplate was more than warm to the touch!

Nice. ..but I'll be more impressed when they're avail. to be scanning in *our* pj's and kicking-butt with ie: One Client's 4000-point logo (..that they will *not* allow to be 'simplified' any-further...) cuz who want's to drag 2x pj's out just to make One logo look great?? ..So, they can't come soon-enough..

..Also-impressive was that *white* from the RGB (Hungarians) box!.. Pure Ice! ..the HB beam-shizzler was cool, too..

Neat-o.. What was your 'subjective' opinion on the results you saw from each? Curious..

Some initial thoughts was that the Scannermax galvo size is really small, and it's a nice surprise to see scanners running without external amp.

About the performance it was difficult to judge anything as they all did similarly sharp graphics. Just the Eyemagic 5100 was running at a smaller angle as their performance is a bit lower.
